Rohr Invites 31 for Cameroon Friendly

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has invited 31 players ahead of Nigeria’s friendly against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, scheduled for the 6th of June.

News Central reports that Nigeria is playing the friendly as part of preparations for the 2022 African Cup of Nations which will coincidentally be hosted in Cameroon.

The only new face on the new list is Abraham Marcus, a former Remo Stars teenage star who now plies his trade with CD Feirense.

Heartland FC goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has also earned a recall to the team amid other regular suspects including skipper Ahmed Musa.

The provisional 31-man squad will be reduced to 23 before Nigeria faces Cameroon in the game scheduled to hold at Wiener Neustadt in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
