Nigerians have been reassured by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the country’s first lady, that President Bola Tinubu is dedicated to strengthening the nation’s current economic reforms.
She claimed the reforms would build a nation where all Nigerians could prosper in a declaration titled “2025: a Year of Prosperity and Abundance” released on Wednesday.
“I offer my sincere thanks to God Almighty, with a lot of hope and confidence in the promises for our wonderful country,” she stated.
“As we traverse 2025, let us put aside our differences and re-establish the love, respect, and understanding that bind us.
“This year is a time to support one another, raise our children and uphold the honour of our elders, and build a nation in which all Nigerians can prosper, irrespective of their origins, religious beliefs, or language proficiency.
“I want to reassure everyone that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s GCFR administration is genuinely dedicated to and actively working on deeper reforms that will unleash the economic potential of our country.
“Let’s unite, supporting one another and making sure nobody gets left behind.”We can all work together to create the Nigeria we want. We’ll do it together.
“Happy New Year, Nigeria. May God grant the Federal Republic of Nigeria blessings.”
Her assurance follows the recent hardship brought on by President Tinubu’s elimination of the petrol subsidy after taking office in May 2023.
