Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finalised their divorce settlement, bringing an end to an eight-year legal battle, People magazine reported on Monday.
Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, confirmed the development, stating she is “focused on finding peace and healing for their family.” He added, “Angelina is exhausted but relieved this part is over.”
Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, and the former couple, once Hollywood’s most high-profile pair, have been locked in legal disputes since.
Although they reached a custody agreement for their six children in 2018, the arrangement has reportedly faced setbacks.

In addition to custody issues, Pitt and Jolie have been engaged in a separate legal battle over the sale of Jolie’s share of Château Miraval, their French vineyard and wedding venue.
The pair first became a couple after starring together in the 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith, during which Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston.
