Hamas has strongly condemned an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza that killed 10 Palestinians, describing it as a horrific massacre. The Palestinian group accused Israel of deliberately undermining any hope of completing the ceasefire agreement and continuing the prisoner exchange talks.
In a statement, Hamas labeled the attack as part of Israel’s ongoing war crimes against Palestinians. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the bombing in Beit Lahia resulted in 10 deaths and several injuries, some of them critical.
Hamas called the strike a dangerous escalation, which it said demonstrated Israel’s continued aggression and total disregard for international law.

The group added that more than 150 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the ceasefire began in January.
Hamas has urged mediators, the United Nations, and other concerned parties to take responsibility and act to halt Israel’s actions. The ceasefire agreement’s first phase ended on March 2, with several exchanges of prisoners for hostages, but Israel has refused to proceed to the second phase, which was meant to establish a permanent end to hostilities.
Since October 2023, Israeli attacks have killed more than 48,500 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Gaza health ministry, as confirmed credible by the United Nations and numerous other organisations. The ongoing military invasion has left Gaza devastated.
