Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic and Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina advanced to the final of the ATP Delray Beach Open on Saturday with upset victories.
Kecmanovic defeated US third seed Alex Michelsen 7-6 (7/3), 6-3, while eighth seed Davidovich Fokina beat Italian fourth seed Matteo Arnaldi 6-4, 6-4.
Kecmanovic, a 25-year-old Serbian who finished second in Delray Beach in 2023, will compete in his fifth tour-level final. His sole title came in Kitzbuhel in 2020.
Davidovich Fokina defeated world number four Taylor Fritz, spoiling the American’s hopes for a third consecutive title at the South Florida event.

The 25-year-old Spaniard defeated Arnaldi in one hour and 42 minutes to advance to his second ATP final, having lost the first at the 2022 Monte Carlo Masters against Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas.
In bright sunshine, Kecmanovic recovered from missing two set points at 6-5 in the first set to win the tiebreak.
In the second set, he saved both break points and advanced after 90 minutes.
