LeBron James delivered a historic performance, scoring 42 points to join Michael Jordan as the only 40-year-old to record 40 points in an NBA game, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-112 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers star also recorded a season-high 17 rebounds, along with eight assists and six three-pointers, as the team secured their fourth consecutive win and 10th in their last 12 games.
Austin Reaves contributed 23 points, while Gabe Vincent added 15 points, making five three-pointers. Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes scored 11 points each, and Jarred Vanderbilt grabbed 14 rebounds to bolster the Lakers’ dominance on the boards.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 37 points and seven rebounds, scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter, including four three-pointers. Despite his late-game heroics, he struggled overall, finishing 6-of-20 from beyond the arc.
Golden State also saw contributions from Buddy Hield and Moses Moody, who each scored 14 points, while Pat Spencer and Draymond Green chipped in 13 points apiece.
