Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez in a deal valued at around £40 million ($54 million), according to media reports.
The Serbian-born defender is expected to travel to Merseyside shortly for a medical, after which the move to the Premier League champions should be finalised.
Kerkez, 21, impressed Liverpool scouts with his standout performances for Bournemouth last season, contributing two goals and five assists across 38 Premier League appearances.
Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes, who previously brought Kerkez to Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar, played a pivotal role in securing the young defender’s transfer to Anfield.

Kerkez began his professional career at Hungarian side Gyor before a brief spell with AC Milan, where he failed to make a first-team appearance. He then moved to AZ Alkmaar in 2022, and after a successful season in the Eredivisie, joined Bournemouth last year.
His arrival raises speculation over the future of Liverpool’s current first-choice left-back Andrew Robertson, who has been linked with a possible switch to Atletico Madrid.
Kerkez is the latest addition to a busy summer window for new Liverpool manager Arne Slot. The club recently secured Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has completed a move to Real Madrid.
