Manchester United forward Amad Diallo may be out for the rest of the season after reportedly suffering ankle ligament damage during training.
The club has yet to confirm the severity of the injury, but further tests are expected to determine the full extent.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international has been one of United’s standout players in an otherwise difficult campaign, scoring crucial goals against Manchester City and Liverpool. With six goals in his last 14 games, his absence would be a significant setback for manager Ruben Amorim.
Diallo addressed the injury on social media, saying he was “extremely disappointed” but promised to return stronger. “Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for,” he wrote.

United’s squad has been further weakened by injuries, with reports suggesting midfielders Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Toby Collyer have also picked up knocks.
Lisandro Martinez is already out for the season with an ACL injury, while Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Mason Mount, and Altay Bayindir remain unavailable.
Academy players, including 17-year-old Chido Obi, have been promoted to first-team training to help cover the gaps.
United, currently 13th in the Premier League, face Tottenham on Sunday, with Spurs trailing them by just two points.
