The Kaduna State Police Command apprehended a renowned kidnapper who was terrorising people of the state’s Ikara Local Government Area.
According to a statement by the Command’s spokesman, Mansir Hassan, the suspect, named as Abdulrahman of Karshi Abuja, was detained by the police Anti kidnapping squad in possession of an AK-47 gun and 27 rounds of live ammunition.
The statement went on to say that during interrogation, the suspect admitted to being involved in multiple kidnappings in the Ikara local government region.
According to the police, additional investigations are underway, and the suspect will face charges once preliminary investigations are completed.
