The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Capt. Chris Ona Najomo as the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
His confirmation followed the adoption of the report by the Senate Committee on Aviation during plenary.
Presenting the report, committee chairman Sen. Buhari Abdulfatai (APC-Oyo) stated that Najomo had been screened and deemed suitable for the role due to his vast experience and contributions to the aviation sector.
Senator Mohammed Monguno (APC-Borno) also supported the nomination, highlighting Najomo’s impressive credentials and the absence of any adverse security reports against him.
Following deliberations, the Senate approved Najomo’s appointment as Director General of the NCAA.
