In a heartening display of support, over four hundred residents of Nasarawa State have received much-needed aid as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Ramadan Palliatives, facilitated by the Nigerian Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.
The distribution took place on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, and included essential items such as bags of rice, solar electronics, and cash donations, aimed at helping the most vulnerable members of society.
This initiative forms part of the broader effort to reduce poverty and provide immediate assistance to those facing financial hardship. Minister Sulaiman-Ibrahim highlighted that the initiative directly aligns with President Tinubu’s vision to support struggling communities, emphasising the government’s commitment to helping the less privileged.

The Minister also urged individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organisations to contribute to similar humanitarian efforts, stressing that collective action is crucial for improving the lives of Nigerians. Sulaiman-Ibrahim reassured those who did not receive assistance this time that further palliative distributions would be organised in the near future.
In a show of gratitude, the Emir of Keffi, Shehu Chindo Yamusa, expressed appreciation for the Minister’s ongoing humanitarian work, not just in Keffi and Nasarawa State but across the country. He urged others to follow the example set by Sulaiman-Ibrahim in supporting the well-being of their communities.
