According to Poland’s army, a Russian plane that had taken off from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad earlier Tuesday briefly breached the airspace above the NATO nation’s territorial seas.
Poland’s Operational Command posted a statement on X stating that “a Su-24MR aircraft of the armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the airspace over the territorial waters of Poland,” adding that the aircraft was in Polish airspace for one minute and twelve seconds.
