Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) edged out Lens 1-0 in a challenging home game on Saturday, with coach Luis Enrique praising his side’s resilience in the narrow victory.

Ousmane Dembele’s early goal, set up by Bradley Barcola, proved decisive, extending PSG’s Ligue 1 lead to six points as Monaco slipped up in their latest outing.

“It’s a justified victory that we had to fight for,” said Luis Enrique, adding that PSG missed chances to increase the scoreline. Despite dominating early and Lens going down to 10 men after Abdukodir Khusanov’s 59th-minute red card, PSG couldn’t convert further attempts, with Lens goalkeeper Brice Samba making key saves.

PSG now sit on 26 points, while Lens, still eyeing a European spot, remain in seventh.
