SERAP Claims DSS Illegally Occupying Abuja Office

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) office in Abuja has reportedly been taken over by officers from the Department of State Services (DSS), according to a statement it released on Monday.

According to SERAP, the officers insisted on meeting with the organisation’s directors.

Describing the takeover as an “unlawful occupation”, the organisation called on President Bola Tinubu to instruct the DSS to stop the “harassment, intimidation, and violation of the rights of Nigerians.”
