AFCON: Burkina Faso, Guinea qualify for finals

Burkina Faso and Guinea clinched their spots at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals as they secured a top-two spot in their respective qualifying groups on Wednesday. While Malawi turned hopes alive with just a game to spare.

Burkina Faso drew 0-0 away to Uganda to join holders Algeria, Mali, Senegal, and Tunisia, who secured their berths last November and hosts Cameroon as the early birds going into the finals.
