Nigeria Receives Stolen Ife Bronze Sculpture Artefact

Nigeria has received a long lost artefact from Mexico.

The Artefact, an Ife Bronze sculpture, a cultural symbol of Nigerians resident in the South West region was supposed to have been smuggled to Mexico but was intercepted by Mexican authorities.

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked the government of Mexico for it’s gesture of goodwill in returning the artefact after years of Negotiations.
