Nigeria’s President Buhari to Return from UK Medical Trip Today

After about two weeks in the United Kingdom, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria by 5pm today.

Buhari had travelled for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) organised Global Education Summit (GES) before undergoing a scheduled medical check-up.
Security agencies in the Federal Capital Territory have already been mobilised for the president’s return.

In the meantime, here is an overview of President Buhari’s days of absence for medical attention outside Nigeria. Africa’s most populous nation, which is also in need of dire interventions in the Health sector.
