EgyptAir has announced the resumption of commercial flights with Kuwait. Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company Amr Abo el-Enein made the announcement in a Facebook post.
The airline will operate two daily flights between Cairo and Kuwait using its Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner, known as the Dream Plane, which accommodates up to 309 passengers.
The plane offers personal screens in the Economy and Business Classes, in addition to entertainment services such as Wi-Fi and the ability to make phone calls through a roaming service.
The company is also scheduled to operate its Boeing 737-800 flights, which come with personal screens and more spacious seats.
According to the statement, EgyptAir customers can book their flights between Cairo and Kuwait through the website egyptair.com, at EgyptAir offices, and by calling 1717 inside Egypt.
Upon arrival, travellers must download and activate the Kuwaiti Health Ministry’s ‘Shlonik’ app, which ensures travellers are abiding by quarantine rules.
Confirming the announcement, Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation said that the direct commercial flights between the Arab countries will resume starting on Sunday, September 5th, 2021
