Libya Deports Tunisians Detained in Illegal Migration Centres (News Central TV).

The Tunisian Embassy in Tripoli has announced the readiness to return 76 Tunisian youths detained at several illegal migration centres in Tripoli back to Tunisia.

According to a statement issued by the Embassy, the deportation is the final batch of Tunisian citizens who were arrested by Libyan security forces.

The 76 deportees arrived in Tunisia on Tuesday evening and were deported through the Ras Ajdir border crossing. The UN had secured their transfer to the port, in cooperation with the relevant Tunisian and Libyan authorities.

On Monday, 686 migrants disembarked on the Italian island of Lampedusa on a 15-metre fishing boat after departing from Libya.
