Barely twenty-four hours after a 21-storey collapse in Ikoyi, Lagos, another building has allegedly crumbled in Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos State.
The cause and casualties are still not clear at the time of this report, emergency responders have reached the site for assessment of the wreck.
Following the collapse of a 21-storey building at Gerrard Road, Ikoyi in Lagos on Monday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has suspended the General Manager of the State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Gbolahan Oki.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement late Monday urged “the authorities to step up efforts in rescue operations” for the victims.
