The eight teams that have qualified for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2022 have been revealed.
Morocco has become the latest country to secure a place in the finals of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Mozambique in 2022.
The bronze medallists from the previous edition in Senegal had to battle Côte d’Ivoire 9-7 on aggregate to qualify (6-7 loss and 3-0 win).
The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Mozambique from October 21 to October 28, 2022. The tournament will be held for the fifth time, following editions in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2021.
The competition will feature eight teams split into two groups of four.
Malawi: Makes its first appearance in the Beach Soccer AFCON.
Egypt: Won bronze medals in 2016 and 2018.
Morocco: Qualified for their fifth consecutive Beach Soccer AFCON, bronze medallists
in 2021.
