Saturday’s Council Election in Abuja is an Improvement on the Past – Amadin Uyi

News Central TV Bureau Chief in Abuja, Amadin Uyi, has said that Saturday’s Council Election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, is a step forward from previous elections.

In an interview with News Central today, Uyi said the votes were mostly peaceful with minor interruptions in some polling centers.

He went on to say that in many polling stations, the Biometric Voters Accreditation System, BVAS, slowed down the voting process, giving voters cause for concern.
