On Sunday, the D’tigress of Nigeria overcame Mali 73-69 to qualify for the 2022 FIBA World Cup in Sydney, Australia.

D’tigress upset France, the world’s number five-ranked team, 67-55 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Adesanya has retained his UFC middleweight title after defeating Robert Whittaker.

After five rounds, Adesanya overcame Whittaker to earn his fourth consecutive championship defense.
