The Zambian Government has said it would decentralise the recruitment of the 11,200 health workers once consultation with various stakeholders are concluded.
This was disclosed by the country’s Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Health Dr. George Mawenda.
Mawenda said the country has done away with the normal way of people applying at the Ministry of Health headquarters, noting that recruitment of doctors would be decentralised to the district and provincial level.
