Seven Children Killed as Construction Dynamite Explodes in Ethiopia (News Central TV)

A dynamite used for construction exploded in West Armacho Woreda of West Gonder zone, Amhara regional state, killing seven children.

Local Police Head, Assistant Inspector Haile Berhanu, said the dynamite exploded on Sunday around 5.30pm in Girar Wuha locality, Ethiopia.

The incident occurred at a camp harbouring road construction materials by Sur construction where children were playing at.

Berhanu said security operatives have cautioned residents to keep children away from the area, even as investigations are ongoing.
