The South African Football Association (SAFA) have applied to host the CAF Champions League.
Following SAFA’s press conference meeting on Friday morning, the FA did not take long before announcing the decision to bid for the 2022 CAF Champions League final to be played here.
SAFA Vice-President Gladwyn White stated that “SAFA intends to bid to host the 2022 CAF Champions League final as well as the 2nd Edition of the CAF Women’s Championship final.”
Additionally, the same application will include the responsibility to host the Women’s CAF Champions League final this year.
