A fire outbreak has occurred under Eko Bridge at Apongbon area of Lagos State, Nigeria, destroying several vehicles.

News Central gathered that the incident happened around 7am on Wednesday.

The cause of the inferno has not been ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

No loss of life was recorded during the incident and sources disclose that emergency responders have arrived at the scene to put out the fire.

Consequently, the bridge has been blocked and cordoned-off for now and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
