Bauchi Youths Storm Police Station as Police Officer Stabs Two to Death (News Central TV)

Angry youths in the Yelwa area, a suburb of Bauchi State have stormed the Yelwa Divisional Headquarters, following the alleged stabbing of three residents by a police officer.

Two out of the three victims were said to have died before they could get medical attention. The youths of the community have blocked access to the Yelwa Divisional Headquarters through Elim Church junction.

There’s palpable fear as the aggravated youths set vehicle tyres on fire on the road. Some were seen throwing stones at the police inside the Yelwa Police Station. The police were also shooting into the air to disperse them.
