Nigerian afro-fusion superstar and previous Grammy winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, famously known as Burna Boy has been announced as one of the performers at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony.
The 32-year-old hitmaker will be performing along with other top artists including Travis Scott, Luke Combs at the 66th edition of the annual awards, the Recording Academy disclosed on Sunday.
Other top stars earlier announced on the lineup of performers include Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo.
This performance marks the “Last Last” crooner’s second time, the first being at the 63rd premiere ceremony of the Awards.
This was the night he took home a Grammy for Best Global Music Album for “Twice As Tall”, marking his first Grammy win in his career.
Burna Boy has been nominated for four awards in the 2024 Grammys:
Best Global Music Album for his latest project “I Told Them…”, Best African Music Performance for the track “City Boys”, Best Global Music Performance for “Alone”, and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ on Top of the World”.
The 66th edition of the annual Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles, USA on Sunday, February 4, 2024. It will also air live on the CBS Television Network, as well as live streams.
The Recording Academy will be announcing more additional acts and presenters as the weeks go by.
