The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has finalised plans to release the results of the recently concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to a notice circulated to journalists in the nation’s capital, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar, is scheduled to conduct a press briefing in Abuja today, Monday, April 29, 2024, regarding the release of the results and related matters.
As indicated in the notice provided by Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s Head of Public Relations, it was mentioned that the results to be released today are for candidates who participated in the exam during the first few days, while others will be released after thorough evaluation.
The delay in releasing the results was attributed to the board’s decision to allow ample time for comprehensive assessment, a measure aimed at ensuring the credibility and authenticity of the results.
According to reports, more than 1.9 million candidates registered for the 2024 UTME across over 700 Computer-Based Test Centres nationwide.
The 2024 UTME, which commenced on Friday, April 19, 2024, is expected to conclude today.
