Amnesty International has alleged that Nigerian security forces killed a minimum of 21 demonstrators during the #EndBadGovernance protest, the head of the organisation informed AFP on Wednesday.
Isa Sanusi, increasing the previous count of 13, stated that Amnesty had confirmed an additional seven fatalities in Kano and one in Azare, located in the northeastern state of Bauchi.
Both the police and the military have refuted any involvement in the deaths that occurred during the demonstrations.
