Nigerian singer, Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has tendered a public apology to his wife, Sunkanmi Ajala, for cheating. 9ice made the plea on Saturday on his Instagram page after a viral video showed him kissing another woman.
The singer openly admits that he made a mistake, and pleaded with his fans to help beg his wife, in a video posted on his instagram page.
He has only been married to sunkanmi Ajala for a year, however, he has 5 children with 3 different women.
According to him, “I have done a shameful and terrible thing costing me my family. The 9ice you always see is because of my backbone, my wife but the terrible thing I’ve done is costing me a lot. I’ve apologised but I need you guys to help me beg her she’s my backbone.
Twitter peeps think this apology is not genuine, and 9ice is just being apologetic because the video leaked. They also feel he made the whole video about him, his gains, and his feelings, which screams patriachy. Let’s take a look at some of the comments.
