Ghanaian Afro dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has left his supporters wondering what has changed about his stance on Nigerian music.
Shatta Wale trended some months ago for calling out Nigerians and Nigerian musicians for not showing enough love and support for other African acts.
His tirades led to a popular online argument with Nigerian musician, Burna Boy and a lot of reactions from Nigerians.
Shatta Wale in a deviation from his past stance hailed Nigerians on Twitter on Sunday and said Ghanaians don’t support their own.
“Please can we just respect Nigerians for their hard work and stop comparing our lazy lifestyle to theirs .. It’s shame ppl think Nigerians will come hard at me but see they are the ones doing the streaming cuz they understand what Talent means .. Ghana music is a shame,” the musician said in what seemed like an attempt to stir the online space.
“So man can’t talk to some foolish ghana fans in peace ,
“Nigeria pls ano come for una I beg ,I am talking to ghana foolish fans association ,I will come to you when I have beef over there plssss …let me finish with these fu****s 😂😂 I beg,” he said.
Shatta Wale’s stance on Nigerians not supporting Ghanaians has since been doused with the success of Black Sheriff whose “Kweku the Traveller” single has topped charts in Nigeria for weeks now.
