Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mané were both on the score sheet as Liverpool brushed aside FC Porto 4-1 in a UEFA Champions League match played last night.
Mané opened the scoring against the run of play in the 26th minute, sliding home a scuffed shot from Salah. There were suspicions of offside which Porto protested but the goal was confirmed by VAR. Salah slotted home in the second half finishing off a swift counter attack to make it 2-0.
Porto pulled one back through a Eder Militao header from a corner but further goals from Fabinho and Virgil Van Dijk sealed the win for the Reds who advanced 6-1 on aggregate.
Liverpool will now face Barcelona in the semi-final with the first leg coming up on 1 May. In four visits to the Camp Nou, the Merseysiders are unbeaten with two wins and two draws.
