Penelope (Penny) Jabulile Mkhwanazi has been named Senior Vice President for Revenue Generation Rest of Africa and International Markets at Isuzu Motors South Africa.
Penny is now in charge of all income generation, including sales and aftersales, in the Rest of Africa regions.
Penny comes to Isuzu after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Isanti. Her extensive job experience includes manufacturing, mining, construction, fast-moving consumer products, and entrepreneurship, and spans over 20 years.
Billy Tom, President and CEO of IMSAf, says the Isuzu leadership is thrilled to have Penny on board.
“Her vision for the business and extensive experience across the various sectors make her ideally suited to lead and build the long-term growth and sustainability of IMSAf in African markets,” said Billy Tom.
Penny has held positions as Executive Head Customer Fulfilment for Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa, Country Manager and Director for Barloworld Equipment Zambia, and General Manager Free State Lesotho.

She earned a BSc (Biochemistry and Microbiology) from Wits University in 2002 and finished the Cyril Ramaphosa World of Learning’s Management Development Programme in 2003.
In 2003, she earned a brewing certificate from the Institute and Guild of Brewing in London, and in 2006, she earned a Master Brewer Diploma from the same institution.
