Police operatives attached to the Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a three traffic robbers in Ojota area, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Kareem Ahmed, 26, and Afo Emma, 24, were arrested with five stolen Android phones, a jack knife, a cutlass, a mask, and weed suspected to be Indian hemp.
The suspects are now assisting security operatives with an ongoing investigation aimed at apprehending other criminal elements in the axis.
The arrest comes after numerous complaints from motorists about the misbehavior of these miscreants on the Ketu/Ojota Road.
The Lagos State Command Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi fdc, has directed that efforts be maintained in all identified black spots in the state to ensure that all miscreants in these areas are apprehended and dealt with in accordance with the law.
Recall, on April 7, 2022, security operatives arrested a set of traffic robbers with a beretta pistol and four rounds of ammunition at the Toyota bus stop near Oshodi.
Their arrest followed a tip-off commuters gave to officers who were on routine patrol along Ladipo and Oshodi.
