Husband of popular actress Funke Akindele has announced his seperation from his wife.
Abdul Bello also known as JJC Skillz said he was quitting his union with Akindele.
JJC made the announcement on his Instagram page a while ago. He said, while they’re going through the divorce process, business concerns and custody of their children will be addressed.
Funke Akindele was recently announced as an invitee to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the organisers of the Oscars.
The separation is coming after the celebrity couple had earlier disputed a rumoured breakup on Father’s Day, June 19.Eleven days ago, Funke had celebrated JJC Skillz on Father’s Day to punch their rumoured split.
“Happy Father’s Day darling!!! Thank you so much for being a wonderful and caring father. We love you God bless you more Baba Ibeji of life!” she posted at the time.
Taking to the comment section of the post to react, JJC reacted with: “Awwwww thank you darling, God bless and protect us #familyfirst #thebellos.”In spite of Funke and her husband JJC Skillz’ attempts at mending fences and present a public impression that all was well, her stepson Benito was always on social media stating sordid details of the goings-on.
Obviously excited to hear the news of his father’s split with Funke, Benito wrote on his Instagram story “I spoke the truth mehn.”
