Acclaimed Egyptian Music Composer, Producer, Creative Director, Hisham Kharma participated in the launch of the first Egyptian metaverse city (METATUT) on Wednesday, November 30, making him the first Egyptian to play his music in the Egyptian metaverse.
This Egyptian metaverse city was created In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. Tutera – a creative community hub for designers have taken ancient Egypt as their muse in creating this Pharaonic city in the metaverse called METATUT.
This meta-city was designed to give people world over a glimpse of the beauty of ancient Egyptian civilisation, and all it has to offer beyond its iconic pyramid of Giza. The project was built by a group of students at the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
Giving how beautiful this city is, it totally makes sense that Kharma who just presented the official music theme and the opening film soundtrack, for the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference – Cop 27 got the opportunity to play his original composition in this Egyptian meta verse first.
