Devastating floods hit Saudi Arabia’s city of Mecca on Friday morning following a night of torrential rain, damaging properties and vehicles.
Several video footages shows vehicles being swept away by torrents of water, while several roads remain closed off.
Torrential rain hit the city through Thursday night and into Friday morning.
In a weather warning by the National Centre of Meteorology, the rain may continue to fall at moderate to critical levels in the Rania, Taif, Adham and Maysan areas.
