As Nigeria prepares for the Presidential polls across the country, election materials have been distributed to Adhoc staff in some Local Government Areas across the country.
News Central has reliably gathered that the distribution of materials to Adhoc staff at Olowu Primary School, Ajah, Lagos State, (Eti-osa 3) has started.
Adhoc staff are seen collecting non-sensitive materials while about six voters have been spotted at the polling unit.
Today, Nigerians will vote to choose a new president and 468 federal parliamentarians. The general election for the state assembly and governor will take place in two weeks.
The nation’s general polls this year will be the seventh since democracy was restored. Elections were conducted prior to this one in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019.
The current election, which is the most competitive in Nigeria’s recent political history, is being held by the 18 recognised parties.
