A Magistrate Court situated in Ibadan, Oyo state, Southwest Nigeria has ordered the skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinityguy to prison over an accusation of sexualising a minor in his viral skit video.
Earlier, the Nigerian Police, through Force Public Relation Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called for the arrest of Trinityguy following a viral video of his unsafe pranks.
The Oyo State Police Command on Friday stated that the skit maker and parent of the little girl in viral video were interrogated by the Command and would appear in court Monday (today).
Appearing before the Magistrate, Olúdáre Adebayo, counsel to the defendant who was brought before the magistrate by the Police, urged the court to grant his client bail.
Magistrate PO Adetuyibi, while rejecting the bail application, said the state Ministry of Justice is reviewing the allegation against the Skit maker.
The court also ordered that the parents of the little girl in the video be remanded alongside Trinityguy till next sitting. The Magistrate, therefore, adjourned till July 11.
