Nigerian Actor Adedimeji Lateef has heaped praise on his wife Adebimpe for pushing him to give his best effort when he fractured his leg while filming Femi Adebayo‘s Jagun Jagun.
When Lateef announced that the filming of his upcoming film Lisabi will soon start, he also said that without his wife’s love and support, he would not have been able to finish the work on Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun.
At the movie premiere, Lateef and his wife stole the show by dressing stylishly and garnering attention with their Egyptian-inspired attire, to the applause of coworkers and admirers.
The production was funded by Netflix, and Lateef, who performed the major role, gave it a high rating because it was so demanding.
Speaking about his part, Lateef revealed that he nearly quit the job after breaking his leg during the film’s production but he was persuaded to continue by Femi Adebayo.
He remembered how his wife constantly pushed him to keep going and give his all, stating she assisted in his recovery.
“I remember on the first day of the shoot, I broke my leg and it seemed as though I would not continue because the pain was unbearable but my wife was there to encourage me, just as the crew showed me immense love while the shoot lasted.
“My wife is my number one fan and critic. She pushes me really hard and encourages me to work hard. I think I owe a lot to her and I am grateful for her love and support,” he added.
