South African Police Service (SAPS) have refuted claims linking the apprehension of two South African citizens in Eswatini to the gruesome murder of popular musician AKA.
SAPS clarified on Tuesday that the arrested persons are wanted for attempted murder, unrelated to the AKA case, occurring on March 6, 2023.
However, Times of Eswatini have revealed snippets/ parts of the court documents that suggests otherwise.
The Eswatini times says their story remains unchanged, regarding the two hitmen who were arrested in Eswatini being linked to AKA and Tibz’s murder in February 2023.
Meanwhile, SAPS in KwaZulu-Natal have called for a media briefing that will take place at 9pm this evening.
However, SAPS says it has arrested six suspects connected to the murder of AKA.
According to the police, all six played separate roles in coordination of the artist’s murder.
