Nollywood Actress Sola Sobowale Debunks Arrest and Death Rumours

Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has refuted rumours suggesting she was arrested for drug trafficking and killed in Saudi Arabia.

During an appearance on the ‘Teju Baby Face Show’ on Tuesday, the 58-year-old addressed reports that circulated when she travelled to the UK, alleging her involvement in drug trafficking leading to her death in Saudi Arabia. Unfazed by these claims, she said she is at peace with God.

She recounted a separate rumour that she was involved in selling food at a restaurant owned by her older sister, Kike Oyelami, in London. Shedding light on this accusation, she clarified that she simply assisted her sister during her leisure time.

Regarding the rumours surrounding her alleged demise in Saudi Arabia, the veteran actress stated that she had never been to Saudi Arabia and was unaware of its geographical location.
