According to data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, which oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the Naira saw a slight appreciation, trading at ₦1,483.62 to the dollar on Monday.
This appreciation represents a 0.02% gain from its trading position at ₦1,483.99 to the dollar on Friday. Additionally, the total currency traded decreased to $161.69 million on Monday, down from the $269.27 million recorded on Friday.
Meanwhile, at the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira was traded between ₦1,505 and ₦1,410 against the dollar.
