Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, expressed sympathy for President Bola Tinubu, who, during the Democracy Day ceremony at Eagle Square in Abuja, stumbled and fell from his presidential vehicle while live on TV.
Atiku described the incident as unfortunate and extended his well wishes to the president via his social media handle.
News Central previously reported that President Tinubu slipped and fell heavily while attempting to enter the presidential truck and wave at the crowd. The security team responded quickly, after the president had already fallen face down.
In the meantime, Tinubu’s social media aide, Olusegun Dada, reassured the public that the fall did not cause any significant health damage.
