The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed its decision to appoint a foreign technical adviser for the Super Eagles following recent poor performances under coach Finidi George.
At a board meeting on Thursday, the Executive Committee resolved to hire an expatriate adviser in the coming weeks to prepare for the national team for the AFCON qualifiers and remaining FIFA World Cup 2024 qualifying matches.
The NFF also plans to strengthen its Technical Department and revamp the Technical and Development Sub-Committee.
A statement released just after the meeting reads:
“The Committee resolved to beef up the NFF Technical Department with more qualitative hands. Equally, the Technical and Development Sub-Committee will be re-jigged with immediate effect,”
