Argentina captain, Lionel Messi has attained the record for the most titles in football history.
Messi led his team to victory at the 2024 Copa America final by defeating Colombia 1-0.
The 37-year-old player amassed 45 trophies throughout his football career, surpassing the 44 titles held by his former Barcelona teammate, Dani Alves.
During his illustrious tenure at Barcelona, he clinched an impressive 35 titles. His success extended to the international stage, where he secured six trophies with Argentina, including the Copa America in 2021 and 2024.
In addition to his many accolades, he also won an Olympic gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Games.
Since joining PSG in 2021, Messi has added three trophies to his collection, winning Ligue 1 in both 2021-22 and 2022-23 and the Trophee des Champions in 2022.
Furthermore, the football champion triumphed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina and secured the Leagues Cup 2023 title with Inter Miami.
