The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed on Wednesday that a cabinet reshuffle is in the pipeline.
Onanuga and O’tega Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, stated that there is no specific timeline for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet reshuffle.
President Tinubu appointed his ministers in August last year and has directed them to actively highlight his administration’s achievements.
Onanuga stressed that the President encouraged the ministers to “go out there and publicise the administration’s successes”.
He noted that some ministers were reluctant to speak publicly and added, “Many Nigerians believe the president isn’t doing much while the government is making significant strides.”
