Lebanon’s health ministry has reported the murder of 12 people following Israeli airstrikes on two locations in the southern Tyre district on Monday.
In a statement, the ministry detailed that one strike targeted a road near the city of Tyre, resulting in six fatalities and leaving body parts requiring identification. Four individuals were also wounded in the attack.
A second strike in the town of Maaraka claimed another six lives and left four others injured, according to the ministry.
This development adds to the growing humanitarian toll as the conflict continues to affect civilian populations.
